Rio Yachts has launched the new body of the 18m Sport Coupé 56, fully customized for the owner. The boat has combined all the technical, aesthetic and innovative features that have defined the success of the previous models in this line.
The Sport Coupé 56 stands out for its sporty character and elegant lines at the same time. The shipyard designers worked with Marino Alfani to create a practical layout with updated details. The areas on the open and closed decks are inextricably linked. A spacious bathing platform can not only be a beach club, but also carry a tender or a jet ski. There is space under the large sunbed that can be used as a garage or crew cabin, depending on the owner’s needs.
An open dining area with a U-shaped sofa and a table is located in the shade of a hardtop, opposite is a bar with a sink and a refrigerator. The second dining room is a light sofa corner with a fold-out table and a pull-out TV opposite. A distinctive feature, which Rio Yachts is already using with might and main on other yachts, is the glass door between the helm and the cockpit. It allows you to partially close the interior, providing comfort in any weather. And when open, it rises to the visor, giving the yacht an open aesthetic.
The kitchen below serves as a logical continuation of the saloon, and also unites the space of two decks. A glass sunroof provides sufficient light for this area. The new Sport Coupé 56 has a three-cabin layout: the owner’s suite with its own relaxation area, a VIP cabin in the bow and a compact suite with single beds. However, a version with two cabins and a mini-saloon is also available, due to the reduction in the size of the master’s property.
The Sport Coupè 56 is powered by two 1000 hp Volvo Penta D 13 engines with which it develops a top speed of 38.5 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots, while still being economical at only 230 liters / hour, which is very small. indicator for its category.
